Million Dollar Pound Cake

four cups all-motive flour sifted

1 pound salted butter softened (four sticks)

1 Tbsp natural vanilla extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

three cups granulated sugar

6 massive eggs

¾ cup complete milk OR buttermilk




–Preheat the oven to 300°F. Butter and flour an angel food/tube pan with a detachable bottom. Set aside.

–In the bowl of a stand mixer the use of the whisk attachment whisk collectively the butter, vanilla and almond extracts. Whip for five mins on medium-high.

–Switch to the paddle attachment Add the sugar progressively beating on medium till mild yellow in color. (Around five mins)

–Add the eggs one by one beating properly after every addition. Scrape the perimeters of the bowl as needed.

–Lower the velocity of the mixer and upload the flour alternately with the milk, starting and finishing with flour. Stop and scrape the perimeters of the bowl occasionally.

–After all has been added, beat for 1-2 mins till the flour has completely incorporated.

–Spread frivolously into the pan and leap at the counter, if had to settle.

–Place into the oven and bake for 1 hr 30-forty five mins OR till a toothpick inserted into the cake comes again clean.

–Cool for 15 mins, then take away the outer ring.

–Cool absolutely on a cooling rack.
